George L. Panos, CPM
President
With more than 35 years of experience in the field of real estate, George Panos is the founder and president of Thornhill Properties, Inc.. His signature approach to management guides Thornhill’s Property Management Division. Mr. Panos is a certified property manager (CPM) and a licensed real estate broker. Prior to founding Thornhill Properties, Inc., Mr. Panos spent 15 years overseeing the management of a Baltimore-based, family-operated development company serving both Baltimore and Delaware.
Mr. Panos represented the Resolution Trust Corporation in the disposition of a 300,000 sq. ft. shopping center in Baltimore County, and aided A&A Industries in relocating from an 85,000 sq. ft. complex in Timonium, Maryland to a new 300,000 sq. ft. complex in Hunt Valley, Maryland. While active in the Brokerage Division of Thornhill Properties, he also meets daily with Thornhill’s property managers to monitor and lead the company’s Property Management Division.
Hal Hathaway

With more than 33 years in finance and real estate, Hal Hathaway heads Thornhill’s Brokerage Division. Mr. Hathaway has been with Thornhill Properties, Inc. for 14 years. A former commercial loan officer with more than 22 years in real estate, Mr. Hathaway has brokered and developed real estate from Florida to Delaware. Born and raised in Baltimore, he offers in-depth knowledge of the Baltimore metropolitan market, providing a valuable service to Thornhill’s brokerage clients. His recent transactions include:
- Land sale of 165,000 sq. ft of flex space
- Land sale of 40 acres residential property
- Tenant representation for 15,000 sq. ft. Class A office space
- Landlord representation for 8,000 sq. ft. medical spaces
- Building sales from $250,000 to $5 million, and accompanying leasing responsibilities
